- In 16-bit, one is indeed added to green for R:5, G:6, B:5. We are most
- sensitive to green such that adding the extra bit serves to trick our
- eyes into seeing less banding for any color that has a green component. I
- have a demo that displays color gamuts using 15-bit mode and one that
- does the same but with 16-bit mode - the difference is incredible.
